Nature scene in the winter

Winter Series

Learn how to generate and sustain the warmth your body needs at this time of year! The winter particularly affects the Kidneys causing low back pain, poor memory, the emotion fear, and sluggish Qi.  In this series we will strengthen, cleanse, and increase Qi circulation in the Kidneys, while improving overall immune function in the body. Zap away those winter blues and build your Kidney Qi!

Spring Series

Spring time is here!  Just as daffodils break ground and move upward and outward, so does Liver Qi move in the body.  If our Liver Qi is unbalanced, this movement will cause irritation, anger and bad moods.  Also common are headaches at the top of the head, elevated blood pressure and tendon problems.  In this series we will cleanse and strengthen the Liver, and promote blood circulation to encourage smooth flowing Qi.

Summer Series

Summertime is for the Heart to radiate joy and love! Healthy Heart Qi maintains our innate wisdom and emotional balance.  Imbalanced symptoms include palpitations, shortness of breath, restlessness, insomnia, forgetfulness and chest pain. This series will focus on strengthening the heart, promoting blood circulation to encourage free flowing Qi.

Late Summer Series

Late summer is about transition as we wind down and reflect upon the lessons of heart wisdom.  Clarity, feeling grounded or "at home" and the ability to "digest" information without feeling overwhelmed, are all signs of healthy Spleen Qi.  Poor appetite, food cravings, lethargy, muscle weakness, excessive worrying and over-thinking are common symptoms of Spleen imbalance.

Fall Series

Fall signifies a time of harvest, as we gather and reap the benefits of what we have planted since spring.  It is about letting go and receiving, as we say good bye to summer and prepare for a reflective time to come.  When Lung Qi is healthy nasal passages are open, sense of smell is acute, and voice is strong.  When weakened, there is nasal congestion, excessive mucus, impaired sense of smell, and weak voice.  In this series we will strengthen and cleanse the Lungs, creating an improved protective Qi mechanism.
