The Art of Medical Qi Gong Summer Series with Crystal Bowl Sound Healing
Summertime is for the heart to radiate joy and love! Healthy heart qi maintains our innate wisdom and emotional balance. Imbalanced symptoms include palpitations, shortness of breath, restlessness, insomnia, forgetfulness and chest pain. This series will focus on strengthening the heart, promoting blood circulation to encourage free flowing qi.
Role of the heart
The heart is the emperor of the organs and its main functions are associated with the spirit and blood vessels. It nourishes the organs by pumping blood through the vessels to all parts of the body, maintaining vitality. The heart manifests on the face (rosy vs pale complexion), and opens into the tongue. It stores the spirit and is associated with mental processes. When there is ample heart qi, the mind is clear, nimble and full of vigor.
Tips for healthy heart
